Hello, i've got some issues with my 940 with B230FD engine (1996).
Engine, after starts end when i press the gas pedal, interrupts and work like on this video: https://streamable.com/au91d3

I replace lambda sond, check intake system and everything looks fine. Is it possible, that this issue came from broken MAF?

 

Yes, a bad MAFS is certainly a possibility. Any OBD codes? It'd be better if the OBD confirmed a bad MAFS.

 

Unfortunetly, there is no OBD errors.

When the engine runs for a while, the problem goes away. I will try to find the MAF and replace it for verification.

 

before replacing stuff check the easy ... i had a similar condition due to moisture and corrosion buildup inside the distributor cap.

 

Problems disappearing once engine is warmed up is unusual in my experience with MAFS. Also, MAFS will normally trigger OBD codes. I assume all your ignition parts, plugs, wires, rotor, coil, are in good shape? Also, moisture, yes, that too is a possibility.

 

I've checked distributor cap. There is some corrosion,
I cleaned the contacts with sandpaper, but still, black scorch marks remained. I've replace with brand new distributor cap, sometimes after start and fast press gas pedal, engine speed drops very slowly, but not interrupts. I'll be watching, but for now, i think, the problem is solved.
