hi guys i've recently bought a 940gle sedan and after a bit of diggin around apparantly the standard offset is about +20, is this right?
looking at my rears, in order to bring them out and properl fill the guards this mean i'd be looking at about -40 offset on standard width!
some nice turbo fan wheels would be awesome (ronals etc.) but just having a look around at different options for now.
super stoked with the car though, super smooth and full leather etc, awesome!

 

If you go to the TIRERACK website and look up wheels for your car they will tell you that the correct offset is +20MM . I would not change the offset or you will change the suspension geometry. Find a set of wheel that you like and get the OEM offsets.

 

haha except it looks hideous, im definitely getting wheels to fill the guards, was just wondering if anyone had put some wheels on that filled the guards before.
guessing you'll be against my plans for airbag suspension also?

airbags, as in height adjustable. i might get coils for the moment though, not 100% sure

i just bought a set of wheels, 17 by 8 and 9 inch staggered, getting some hub adaptors once i work out exactly what offset i need, just gonna mock fit the wheels first
