Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum so please excuse any mistakes. I tried to set the timing on my 1993 940 8 valve non turbo, using a timing light but no matter which way I turn the distributor the timing mark won't move. It's always reading 5 degrees. Any suggestions on what may be causing this?

 

The timing is not adjustable on these, it is set by the ECU.

 

Agreed the timing is non adjustable.
