Default 940 Rough Idle

It seems as though whenever the weather goes from cold to warm and humid (which happens frequently in the midwest), my 95 940 (non-turbo) wagonmisses and loses power until it is completely warmed up. I've had the car since it was new and I have not noticed this before. It was serviced and tuned up 3000 miles ago. Any ideas?

Randy, You might try cleaning your IAC (idle air control). Look on this thread page for daver80 post on "where is isle air control" I he posted a pick on location. He has a 240, I have a740, same on our cars not sure on 940. Cllick on the resource thread at the top of this page and go down to forums click on Brickboard and search idle air control. They have lots of info. and instructions. Hope this helps you get her running smmmmmooooth.

I would definitely start by cleaning and lubricating the idle air motor using some carb or brake cleaner and then some wd-40. That should help. If it doesn't fix your problem it is probably the mass air flow meter which unfourtionately is quite expensive to replace.
