Default 940 smooth sporty ride.. How to get it?

I finally picked up a 940 Turbo wagon last night. I will post pics later. I got it for $700.
The AC doesn't work and the interior is dirty.

My biggest concern is that it has all the iPD goodies. Which is great. But the ride is jarring. Should I
1. go back to the original springs and get the SACHS shocks
2. Just change out the shocks to Bilstien touring class shocks with IPD springs?

I'm looking for a smooth sporty ride. Not a jarring ride when the car goes over bumps or pot holes.

Factory suspension would probably be the most comfortable. Did the previous owner install aftermarket bushings anywhere? If they're polyurethane bushings, then perhaps go back to rubber style because the poly bushings will stiffen things up.

I'll check this weekend. I think I may grab some stock springs and the Bilstein TCs, I'll leave the sway bars on. I want a smooth yet sporty ride. Impossible I know.
