940 turbo pcv valve?

Default 940 turbo pcv valve?

1993 940turbo
i took my car to get smogged, and it failed due to the pcv valve. the things thats driving me crazy is i cant find anywhere how to find and change the pcv valve on the car, or even where to purchase one. is it called something else on my car? help plz!

FCP Grouton website should have diagram and part location on their parts page for your volvo. They did for mine.

You are correct, there is a PCV on your 940 Turbo, but it is not a valve. The PCV consists of three main parts, an oil separator box, and a hose that runs to the intake, before the turbo. More then likely, what you need to do is replace the oil separator box and clean out the hoses.

Do you have to remove the intake manifold to replace the oil separator box?

Not on the 940, you should be able to get to it without taking the intake out. I did not have a problem getting it out on my 940 with the intake in.
