Just got my third volvo. Now I have 88 sedan 240, a manual wagon 88 and today decided to snag a very nice 91 745 turbo with 200K miles. I was stunned with how well everything was taken care of in the car, even the leather seats are holding up great. Everything has checked out and it runs beautifully. You can tell that the 2 owners both took very nice care of this car and I'M STOKED!!!!! Love the added acceleration the turbo gives the car, and my wife is loving the modern amenities of the 740, HA.

I'll try to get pictures up of the "fleet" here soon. All of them have some nicks and dings, but I would trust each of them to get me across the country!

Unfortunately one of the cars has to go. I've become so attached to the 240s that it's going to be tough to let one go. While I really like driving the 740, there is something pure about the simplicity of the 240 that is priceless.

 

I'd have to ditch the 88 sedan. The wagon is practical and has a manual. The turbo stays...obviously.
