Default Volvoforums.com Addiction

Well I just wanted to thank you all for helping me start a new addiction. It's called something like Volvoitis...lol. I found this site originally through a google search. Sure I have been on many forums before for Mustangs, American Muscle cars, Explorers, etc, etc. In fact those of you whom own Mustangs may remember a site called Competition Mustang. That was my site where I sold Aftermarket parts for Mustangs, had photo galleries, our own club, race sponsorshipss, etc, etc. However the largest following for the site was our members in the forums. Eventually the site becasme too much for me to handle with all the orders, questions, etc while working a full-time job and being a 1 man operation for the site. One had to give and the site was not making me enough to pay the bills alone so out it went. Anyway, what I am trying to get at is that I have not been so active on a forum since then (about 3 years ago). The more I read on here the more I want to know about my Volvo! Of course alot of this has to do with it being the first non-domestic vehicle I have ever owned in 13 years and also some of the small quirks I have questions about. Just wanted to say I look forward to a long stay here at volvoforums.com

Volvo, the sweet addiction.
This may be the answer to Volvo & Scotch combo. Or Bailey's Irish cream, Lindt chocolate and caramel-flavoured ice cream.

JPN, I can picture you parked on the tarmac, in a Volvo, with a bottle of Glenlivet Archive, a box of Heberts dark chocolate,a stewardess (.Y.), some Freindly's Carmel Ice cream .................................................. ..................................(Note the order of importance)

If anyone is into ice-cream, the following selections are the killers:

http://www.icecreamusa.com/products/...-26461&b=1
http://www.icecreamusa.com/products/...-22490&b=1

Make sure to let it sit for a few minutes after taking it out of the freezer; slightly melted ice-cream provides extra flavour & creaminess. With caramel fudge poured over it, it will become a legend and I half-guarantee that you'll take off, being owe-struck.

And if you're a U.S citizen and proud of it, you just cannot avoid this pride-striking, honour-acquiring phenomenal ice-cream:

And click on "Stephen Colbert's AmeriCone Dream TM".

Or eat this:

I'd better start a new thread on ice-cream[8D].

I gotta say thatI agree with you.

When the site went down for a few days a while back I felt like I was going through withdrawal.

I was thinking, HEEEYYYY!!!!! where is it. Made me feel down [&o].

But it is back and I am glad to get the help with the car again.

Just got finished painting the trim, bumpers, tailgate and handles on The Anvil and now it looks pretty good. Still needs work here and there but I like the way it looks so far.

Gotta fix that fender soon though. LOL
