Default Flasher

Hi,

I am new at this and any help will be appreciated.

My wife ownes a 1985 DL wagon orignal owner with 104,000 miles. When it comes to repair, most garages look at the age and sujest a new car. The wife will not part with it. I am having trouble locating the flasher relay.

All the lights come on with turn signal in either direction and lights come on with flasher, but neither flash. I am looking for the location of the flasher relay and part number . Thank you for any help you can offer.

Default Flasher

Flasher (direction indicators) is located inside the panel next to the driver's right knee -or if you are looking at the cold/warm air control ,which is below the cig. lighter, it is hidden behind that panel. As to the part number, most supplier(like thepartsbin.com) will know what you need when you tell them you need a flasher for 85 volvo dl. Or you can pull the old one out and read off the part # Andrew
