hey all, I need to replace my alternator on my 740gl. Does anyone know the socket sizes I need to undo the alternator? I'm not supposed to do autorepair in the apartment parking lot, so it has to be done quickly. I'm doing it friday afternoon. So it'll help if I can find these sizes out w/o bring the whole tool set. Beside socket sizes, are there any other tools i specifically need?

 

you can change the regulator and brushes without even taking the alternator out, two screws if I remember correctly
