Hello, i am owner of 92 Volvo 940 with B230FB engine and 531 head with VX camshaft. I want to know how strong are engine internals and how strong FB engine is generally speaking compared to other turbo engines? I will eventually convert it to turbo petrol but i dont want to kill my engine with turbochrager. Also the model is 940SE, and i am wondering what kind of rear differential it has, is it regular one or it is g80?

 

in the USA the 940SE was a one year only model, 1991, and was actually a 960 turbo akin to the prior 760 turbos, it had the B230FT engine. in other parts of the world, hard to say what SE meant in any given year
