Default B230FT and B21

Ok, So I am out to turbo my 90 240DL and I have purchased a B21 complete turbo motor with all the lines and everything. My question is it possible to take a head from a B230FT and use it on the B21 Turbo motor with using the B21 exhaust manifold and the intake from the B230FT?

Also, I have the getrag 5 speed currently in my volvo; will the transmission, I believe it is called M47, bolt to the B21 block?

I am going to do a complete rebuild no matter which way I go. If I need to get the B230FT block I can and just use the B21 parts for the air cooler and other miscellaneous parts. I have a Garrett T3 Turbo, The B230FT Cylinder head from a 91 and the injectors and intake manifold, a complete B21 Turbo motor and all the lines and injection system for the B21 and the exhaust system.

I really just don't want to use the k jet injection system

Thank You for your help.

Yes, you can use a the 530 head from a B230ft on a B21ft. Yes, the M47 will bolt right up. Folks have also used the B21 head and just swapped the intakes...just seal the injector holes in the B21 head w/ freeze plugs. Search on turbobricks.com What you're contemplating has been done often.

Ok, Thanks so I do not need a 530 head, I will see which one is in better shape.
