Default bleeding sequence

89 240 non ABS, is the brake bleeding sequence the same whether I use a one man bleeder vs pumping the pedal. Do I just do #1 (in my Haynes) then 2 etc up to 8. I read something about doing both lower front ones at the same (?) time. Thanks! Dave

White- thanks, but the book doesnt say that. It says left rear first, then inside top front second, and on. With three bleeders on each front, (8 bleeders total) I'm still a bit unclear. Any clarification? Dave

its easy...try this...(it worked on my 242gt)

Start at theRight Rear...and do Inner/outter/upper bleeders.
Left Rear same thing...
Right front same thing...
Left front same thing

The basics on bleeding brakes with any car is to start with the brake farthest from the master cylinder and work your way forward. I'm curious as to why your manual says different, I've never read or heard of any different way.
