Need help with my 1987 240 DL. I replaced the blower motor but the new motor attached to the wheels (fan blades) differently. The original motor has 2 slots at the end of the shaft for the clip to lock into and the clip locks into the wheels which locks the wheels to the shaft. The new motor has a groove all the way around the end of the shaft for the clip the fit into but because it's all the way around the shaft it hold the wheels on but it doesn't lock the wheels in position with the shaft. The new motor has a flat halfway down the shaft for the wheel to fit over and lock in to the shaft. Questions 1 did I get the wrong motor even though the part number matches up 2 is this an upgrade and do I need to order new wheels from IPD only one set available and they don't describe whether it has a flat or not.3 I could order a new motor and wheels and whichever works send the others back but I would prefer to know before I start ordering parts
