blowing out fuel injectors
here is a tip you guys might like
i do this at work on outboard engines
to clean fuel injectors on my 740
i remove the three screws holding the fuel rail
pull the clips off the tops of the injectors
remove elec conns by pushing on wire & pull
wiggle the rail off with and remove the injectors
hold them in a vise one by one
carefully energize them with test leads from a 12 v batt
so you can hear the coil working
and then blow them out backwards
while clicking them open with the 12 v
they can also be left to soak in carb cleaner
and blown out again
if you blow forward you can see the pattern
just be careful that the rail isn't pressurized
and stay clear of the small amount of fuel blowing out from injectors
hope this helps someone
