Both Washer Pumps Stopped Working?!?

Both Washer Pumps Stopped Working?!?
I find this a little hard to believe that both of my washer pumps have crapped out on me within 3 days of each other. Its an 87 240DL wagon, and in October when temperatures started to dip a little, there would be some days the front squirters wouldnt work, but thats because I think the previous owner mixed water in with the washer fluid.
After clearing the system and putting fresh washer fluid in, even on the coldest days they would still work. Then while driving, both front squirters quit on me. I figured a hose came loose, but all connections were fine. Then 3 days later the back one stopped working too! I checked the fuse inside, and it was fine. What could be causing this? I dont want to spend $100 for new pumps.

RE: Both Washer Pumps Stopped Working?!?
What ever you do, check the power to the pumps first.
I just replaced both of those pumps. They're pricey, so find an OEM source.
If you replace them, make sure that you get the little rubber seal from the dealer. They're only a couple of bucks--small in comparison to the little pumps.
When you install the pumps, remove the washer reservoir entirely. Clean it and install the new seals with some generous vaseline. Use a pin and poke a hole in the middle of the seal. Coat the connector on the pump motor with vaseline and plunge the motor through the seal into the reservoir.
Fill up the reservoir with water and observe that it isn't leaking via the pump. (Block the side connector so water doesn't come out that way.)
Once you're sure it isn't going to leak reinstall the water reservoir and fill it up with washer fluid.
