Default Brake bleeding tools

89 240- I’ve always used the old method of having an assistant pump the brakes, hose in a jar of fluid, hold and bleed in the correct sequence. You know the drill. Well I did that last night and it still seems kinda soft. What method does everyone use these days? Should I purchase some new equipment? Thanks! Dave

That should work fine. DId you happen to let the fluid get low in the reservoir when you were bleeding it?

Well, then thinking about all the bleeders on the 240 I can think of like 8 maybe more. You did all 8? Did you tap the lines with something between bleeds to knock any bubble loose?

Default bleed

Yeah, I did all 8, never thought about tapping the lines. The book says to bleed the two lower (front) bleeders at the same time, does that mean two hoses, two wrenches? I just did lower then upper. Dave
