I have a 1984GL that the Brake Failure light reamins light. It has not been driven much over the past 12 months due to refurbishment. Brakes work fine but I can't seem to to get teh light to turn off. Is there any sort of sensor or switch that may have failed? Appreciate any advise to remedy this nusiance.

 

If you follow the lines down the body to about where you feet would be inside there is a block with a single wire. That is the sensor. You can try to remove the sensor and clean it and see if the light goes out.

If all else fails you can unplug the wire and leave it unplugged. The light will stay out.
