This cycle has happened several times. Car is started and dash brake light and dash ABS light comes on, stays on for 10 to 30 seconds and then goes off.

Brakes seems to work fine. Cruise quits during this "light on" but since the cruise is linked to the brakes, that makes sense.

The dealer recently installed a new TCM and the positive cable from the battery to the main fuse box.

Any body got any ideas? Thanks in advance for you help.

 

forgot one thing. this does not happen often. just every week or two.

 

ABS module bad?

 

is this something I can test myself? will this show a code on an OBDII tester?

 

If it can read ABS codes yes you can pretty much tell by that.
There is specific codes that stay in there when it is bad.
