Car brakes fine. Nothing unusual except the pedal just sometimes doesn’t return the last 1/4 inch or so required to disengage break lights (doesn’t seem to be any actual breaking applied at this point though). Can lightly pull it up with my toe and they turn off.

I just bought the car a few weeks ago. Prior owner had brake master cylinder and brake booster replaced within last 18 months.

Any ideas on likely culprits?

 

The spring is tired or the brake switch is faulty... The new master, and booster may be affecting the pressure too...
