I've fought this battle before on a C230 Benz that I used to own. I had replaced the original Mercedes pads with an aftermarket brand. They worked great for a few thousand miles then they started the dreaded squeeling. No matter what I did those damn pads squeeled. I ended up replacing them with my favorite pads and that's the PBR Deluxe metal masters. I never heard another squeek and dust was all but eliminated. It seemed like a waste to change pads at the time but the squeeling was killing me and the end result was worth every penny.

Like Jet said the only way to kill the squeal is with better pads. I had the same trouble on my 240 and the only thing that helped was some new pads. It sucks to have to throw the old ones away though.

Yup that's about all you can do. Mine squeal a little bit but its not enough to make me buy new pads. But if yours is bad and it really bothers you that much then you just have to buy better pads.
