'87 240 DL Power door problem, please help
Alright, so recently my power doors have decided to be a pain. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. When I try to lock the doors from the driver seat, instead of locking all the doors when I push down on the lock I hear a click inside the dash. This will also happen when I slam the driver door shut, i'll hear 4 or 5 quick clicks inside the dash. Also, Sometimes when I drive I will hear a continuous click inside the dash. Something electronic is wrong inside the door. The thing that screams to me is that it works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. So it may just be a loose connection. I was trying to track down where the clicking is coming from, but its deep in there, somewhere above the radio. I have NO idea where to look and I was wondering if any of you know where the connection is or know if I have a more serious problem. I don't think its worth me digging around in there without knowledge of what i'm doing first - not worth the shock.
thanks, Patrick

Yea realus can be a pain. I would suggest taking it out and just running a soldering iron and some fresh solder across the backside of it. I fixed my OD relay that way and it works perfect now. If that doesnt do it you can probably buy a new one for $40 they are kind of tricky to find though you cant find them at your local auto zone.
