Default A/C Clutch

Can an A/C clutch be rebuilt? Mine is currently drawing too much juice and blowing the fuse.

I know of at least two auto-electricians here in the UK who could do that but I doubt if it would be a job for the average DIY mechanic.

You might be better off trying to find a good used one.

Yeah, I figured it would be better to just replace the entire compressor. Plus I didn't want to bother shipping parts anywhere, especially abroad. I can find a decent one new on eBay. This was the electrical problem from my last posting, Tech. My windows and turn signals were out. Come to find out the a/c clutch was going out and the juice it was drawing was blowing the #9 fuse.
