hey all, im new to the forum, long-time old skool volvo lover.

my dads giving me his 82 240DL (carbed). i know my way around cars, but i have a few specific questions about this particular engine.

first, how much is involved in converting the intake from carb -> injection? will the FI intake bolt on? and then all i would need is an ECU and harness?

and second, does anyone have any experience on small block chevy conversions into these things? or know a website to go to?

ive got nothing against the 4-banger thats in there, except the carb is on its way out and if i can get an injected intake bolted on for cheap, ill do it. If not, ive heard alot of ppl shove small blocks in these things.

If it was me.....I would upgrade the to B230FT and build it up from that.
