Hello everyone, as a first time writer to the forum I'm hoping someone can help me.

I recently changed out the stock stereo in my '93 940T wagon ( CR-814) withan exact same unit that I purchased online. It didn't come with the code.I've tried calling both dealerships out here in Las Vegas, NV. and keep getting the run-around...'our internet is down, call back later' or 'sure, let me transfer you to parts' ( when I thought I was already in parts) and promptly get someone's voicemail. Due to work hours, I can't make it down to either dealership before they close. Is there someone possibly out there who has access to these codes that can help me? The numbers on the deck are:

1398615 9135 (and then in very small print) 4969. All of these #'s came off the sticker sffixed to the top of the deck. Model # CR-814.

Thanks for the quick response.

But if I give them my VIN #, won't they just give me the code to the stereo that originally came w/ the car? I have that code on a small, plastic white card.I was lucky enough to get it with all the other info (owner's manual, etc.) from the previous owners.

I guess if worst comes to worst, I'll have to leave work early one day and go to the dealer. I'm still holding on, tho....

 

Try calling a dealer in a different town. As this is a free service some dealers are reluctant to give out the info.
