Default custom speaker mounting (advice)

So I am 23 years old and 2 speakers just are not going to cut it. I have extra 15 cm (6 in) speakers from my old car I want to mount somewhere in the back.
I have only roughly considered the logistics of this, but seems I could mount them in the doors like they are on the front. Has anyone done this before? How hard is it to NEATLY cut into the doors and install a speaker brace? Is it easy to run the wires from the door? If the backdoors are a bad choice, then any where else to suggest? I am a bit concerned that if I add speakers they'll catch on the seat when it's folded down? But like I said, I only roughly considered this.
Anyhow, if anybody has some insight about whether this is feasible, I'd appreciate the input.

I haven't done the 240's system yet so I am not sure. But it did the 745 and that was easy to cut the door metal to screw in the speaker mount plates.
Run the wires where the stock harness passess throught the door.

There is a 240 speaker thread on Turbobricks in the showroom. Some ideas there.

wait for the experts to get on

Wow, turbobricks board just absorbed the better part of a day and a half. Some nice cars there. Too bad I don't have a turbo.
I see most put the speaker down at the feet. It seems the best place. I don't have mounting plates but I'm sure I can get them from a car audio store. The speakers do have mounting holes but I want it to hold when it vibrates.
Any advice getting the door panels off? I always manage to snap some clip when I do it.
