Default Defective Brembo rear rotor?

I was changing out my rear pads and rotors today and noticed what appears to be an irregularity on the Brembo rotor.

One of the rotors has two 4 or 5 millimeter diameter recesses about 1 millimeter deep. There are 2 of them about 180 degrees apart. Any idea if they have a function?

Thanks in advance.

It does sound like a flaw. i'd change it if it's easy but I'd not worry about it if it's a hassle.

Brembo rotors: The last set of Brembo's I put on I loved. They come with two dimples in the rotor. They are wear indicators. When they are flush, the rotor is worn out. Hope this helps.
