Like the title says does the sunroof drive gear for a 900/700 from IPD fit a 240?

well, I live in Norway and they only ship to the US so that won't work for me.

 

I doubt a 700/900 sunroof would fit even if you could get one. My Volvo indy explained no US bound 240 came with sunroof from the factory, they were dealer installed options and I should not attempt to add one to mine now (evidently they can become headaches since they were not part of the original car's design). Even if you wanted to cut a hole in your roof, it sounded as if there was a kit from Volvo for the 200 specifically you would need, unless your wallet is big enough to pay for something completely custom.

 

Here's the page from the parts catalog for a 1986 240 sedan sunroof installed at the factory. And yes I have seen and repaired a few aftermarket sunroofs also.

 

240 did come with sunroofs from the factory. Tell your indy Volvo.
