0.002 amps is 2 milliamps, I'd not be surprised if the clock and radio draw about that much to maintain their state. 500 hours to drain 1 amp-hour from the battery.

the fact that its not charging at idle suggests maybe the alternator brushes are worn. I'd be popping off the regulator/brush assembly and inspecting it, a new BOsch regulator/brush thingie is like $30 at IPDusa...

I just got finished checking those out and while the brushes didn't look to terrible, I do believe that's the problem. their probably a little less than half way worn down, and the surface they make contact with(I forget what its called) had a few small grooves in it so I took some 800 grit wetordry sandpaper and lightly sanded it back down to where it was almost perfectly smooth and I also lightly sanded the brushes just for good measure.
Now it isn't loosing the charge as quickly as it was before, but it still isn't charging very high at idle, now when revved up its gets as high as 14.3 volts, so I was moving in the right direction at least. Tomorrow during work I'm going to check out a few salvage auto parts places and go from there. If I can't find one tomorrow I'll be ordering those brushes from ipd very soon!! Hopefully I can make it to work and everything fine tomorrow since this will be the first long drive I've taken in the car since I bought it...haha
