Is it possible to somehow wire the electric overdrive so that you can hit the button in any gear and have it overdrive that particular gear. I think it would be nice if it work for days being stuck in traffic when your either stuck in the higher rpms of a gear or lugging the motor if you gear up, now if u could overdrive let say first gear, traffic starts moving but just not fast enough to shift up and your in the higher rpm part of a gear you could just hit the overdrive button and then problem solved, I donno if its possible but it would prolly make life alot easier for some people.

 

I assume you are talking about a manual trannny, and no, it's not possible.
