Default Engine mounts 940 oem/Aftermarket

Hello again,

Well Tech is correct.I need motor mounts. Its not that bad but it vibrates a bit between 2.5 to 3k rpm's.This is driving me crazy because I like the car to be smooth. Is there a difference between oem and aftermaket other than the price?

Well I replaced the motor mounts and the problem is still there.I thought that this would fix it.The car vibrates when I rev the engine above the 2500 rpms. What is going on?

This may be a long shot but I have seen this several times over the years. Remove the belts that go to your fan on your engine, start it up and see if you still have the vibration. On rare occasions I've seen where a fan blade gets either bent or becomes out of balance with a loss of a section of blade. Give that a try and see if the engine smooths out. If that's the problem you can get a fan out of a junkyard for next to nothing that will more then likely be ok. Just don't run the engine too long because your water pump won't be turning. Start it up without the belts, see if the vibration goes away, then shut it down.

I forget have we talked about the trans mount being bad yet?
Is it sitting on the cross member?

What brand is the mounts?
Can you rock the engine and feel the mounts working?
Or does it feel really hard and you rock the entire car and not see the engine moving?
