Engine & trans swaps
[align=left]Hello all. I have an '85 245,B230 engine w/4 speed A/T,chassis serial #624798,. The body is completely rusted out, but the drive train only has 132K miles. Two questions:: First, will the engine swap with an '88 244, chassis #322956, with about twice the mileage? He said that I would have to "replace all the sensors".So far all of the replacement parts numbers I 've looked up are the same. Second , what about putting the AW70 into an '81 244,B21 w/BW55 three speed? He said it would depend on the size of the driveshaft (length? diameter?).Any feedback would be most appreciated.
