I am in the market for a turbo wagon and have found several high mileage 940s for sale. Personally, I prefer the bigger, boxy styling. On the other hand, I'm leery about how much life could be left in a car with 150K miles and up.

Is it possible these vehicles have significant life left in them? Most are being sold by the second owner, so service records are most likely incomplete.


Whichever I buy will be checked out by a Volvo mechanic. Still though, I am wondering what I need to be watching for when checking out this particular flavor Volvo wagon.

Any buying tips would be greatly appreciated.
