89 240DL, 212k, seems to steer like the front tires are low on air. What is the sign I need a new PS pump? Dave

 

i had a problem with my steering. then i found out that part of my wiring harnes had gotten wraped around my steering linkages under the hood.

 

Acton- Jeeze that seems strange. I'll check that out tonight. Lately I have been hauling buckets full of gravel from a friends yard. most of the weight over the rear axel, a friend says I probably messed up my ball joints. Could that be? Seems to turn harder to the left than the right. Dave
