Default Fender removal.

I want to install an antenna in my fender, but first I have to take the fender off. It seems pretty self-evident, but still I was wondering if there were any sets of instructions on the internet that any of y'all knew about.

You might be able to install an antenna by just removing the inner fender (plastic piece) and turing the wheel hard lock. Typically antennas just need a hole in teh top and a hole for the wire to run through the A pillar, plus sometimes a strap to stop movement of the base of the antenna. I've installed a few in other cars without hassle in this manner and a Volvo is much the same as them. You can drill teh hole for the wire to run through teh A pillar from the inside, or there may be a convenient grommet to poke a hole in too. Just seal it up well and have the antenna wire running UPHILL as it enters the body. Water can't run uphill........

Regards, Andrew.
