Hi everyone, fabs here. This is my first post in this forum. I don't have a 240 (yet..haha). I'm in the midst of selling my car. I've been thinking of getting a 240 volvo. There is just something about these cars...anywho. There are a few for sale around my area..a few automatics and a manual on as well ('89). I would like some info on these cars...what are your thoughts on them? Is there anything i should be looking out for?
I know that they are extremely reliable even in the coldest of winters.
Do they all come with a limited slip differential? or was this optional?
are there any for sure know problems? (a/c failing, electical problems).
One of the cars for sale has problems with it's heating system...is it hard to fix?
are parts redily availible? or hard to find?
is it an easy car to work on?
any interior things that tend to fail?
any info would be much appreciated.thanks
