V70 Towbar fitting

Just bought the V70, and now require to fit a towbar. Heard that a fixed bar can affect the parking sensor. Is this correct? and should I go for the detatchable fitting? albeit slightly more expensive.

Welcome to VF. I have never heard of a fixed tow bar messing with the sensors. The OEM bar is a fixed bar isn't it.
