Is the car turbo or na? Was it stock or messed with?

Build a new motor. Big turbo.
Put a stock one back in.
Put volvos new v8 supercar engine in it. If they ever become available to public lol...
V8 swap is popular.

For several project cars, check out the sticky threads on this forum - like:

Or you can get a used motor pretty cheap, $250 in some areas...

I just bought the car from him for 500$, he paid 1k a month ago. Feel terrible for my friend.

I'm usually on NASIOC so I support turbo builds.
But I'm probably going to drop a ford crate motor into this !
Will start a thread eventually. For now I'm going to mexico next week to get out of the cold cold PNW.

to answer the other questions, it was NA, automatic, and stock except it's lowered a little bit. The moron who lowered it did it wrong so I need to replace the suspension and I was going to have to do that anyway to accommodate a v8

an alloy small block ford v8 is LIGHTER than a cast iron red block, no suspension mods are needed.

a GM pushrod V8 otoh will be heavier.
