Default fuel filter hosing help

Hello i replaced my fuel filter and had to cut the hoses off because the fuel filter bolts would not budge at all. I was wondering what is the best type of hose to get i read silicone is bad because cant handle pressure and will blow off also how in the hell do you get the hose back over fittings its extremely tight.

Go to an auto parts store and take a piece of the old hose with you. Get fuel injection hose and a few SS clamps and you should be OK.

No offense intended whatsoever...but that's something that perhaps should have been considered before you chopped the hoses. The only way to get the fittings back in, is to heat the ever loving He** out of them with a heat gun. As for the fittings being tight? This is an old Volvo's Geritol...

Electric heat gun, not butane and certainly not a torch.
Otherwise you'll end up on the news.
