Default Fuel pressure testing

I would like to check fuel pressure on a 93 240. There is no schrader fitting to attach a standard pressure tester. I am thinking a tee fitting placed between the supply hose and the fuel rail with a schrader valve on top would work and could be left permanently in place. Has anyone seen such a fitting or know where one could be purchased? Could I make one myself with the proper assortment of fittings?

I've never seen a factory made one. We made tee's at the shop by cannibalizing old fuel rails and feed hose from junkers. Cut the last few inches off the fuel rail male threaded end and a like amount of the high pressure line coming up from the fire wall; put the tee in the middle and hook it up. I CANNOT recommend you leave that sort of arrangement installed permanently; the potential for developing leaks is too great. Works great as a diagnostic device however.
