Fuel pump question?
Airtex/Master pumps are a good aftermarket pump. Many shops, including mine, use them regularly w/o problem. Check the actual pump and see how it's marked. Often Airtex re-boxes name brand stuff and sells it as their own. My concern would be if you paid Delphi prices and received Airtex...while they're good pumps, they aren't what you purchased. Like I said, if the actual pumps are marked Delphi it's no big deal.
Rock auto refunded the difference in price when I called them and told them what happened. They say its common for manufacturers to buy pumps made by some one else and re-box them? what ever, They told me the warranty is the same and Delphi does this all the time which I dont know if I really believe at this point but I need to use the pumps ASAP to get my 240 rolling.
I work at a major auto parts retailer. Re-boxing is common. We'll carry a brand for awhile, they won't be able to deliver for whatever reason after a certain point and then we'll switch to another brand and re-box all the old inventory. As long as the warranty is honored, it's all good.

I dont think "its all good" I wanted Delphi pumps which cost 30% more if I wanted Airtex pumps I would have bought Airtex pumps, thats bait and switch at its finest. If the part ordered cant be delivered than dont advertise that you have it plain and simple.
