I got a funny electrical problem.

I fixed the light in the gear selector of the auto trans. But this light only comes on when I sit in the driver seat in certain position. Also when the gear selector light do comes on, the entire dash light went dim a little bit. The driver seat is bit loose but not the base bolt, its the adjust linkage went loose, I can kind rock it around a little bit, just a little bit.

Seat is heated, works fine, heater on or off has nothing to do with the lighting issue.

The ground point of the gear selector light has been cleaned and wire was replaced when I was there.

When I move in the seat, the gear selector light comes on and off randomly, sometimes I have to keep a certain position to keep it on. Also the bulb failure light sometimes comes on and off with the gear selector light, not always, but sometimes. Only the gear selector light is affected, all other light bulb works fine. This bulb failure light only comes on and off when I turn on the parking light which I do all the time when drive during the day(no low beam). When low beam is on, the gear selector light will also on and off regarding how I sit, but bulb failure light wont come on.

It almost feel like a loose ground or internal cracked wire, but what the driver seat has to do with the gear selector light bulb.....
