Fuse 12 blows when air conditioner is turned on
I have a 1990 240 that recently I turned on the air conditioner only to find it wasn't working. Next thing I knew, the windows won't roll down either. Well, it seems that turning on the air caused Fuse 12 to blow. This happens ~2-3 sec after turning on the air. It worked last fall when I bought the car but of course I haven't used it till now.
Any clues as to what would cause this fuse to blow? Also, does anyone out there have a wiring diagram for the air conditioning system for this year & model. It seems that my Haynes manual didn't seem fit to put in the diagram for the air conditioner wiring. I pulled one from a green book for an '85 but I suspect my wiring slightly different.

Thanks Dan for the help. One more thing, where is the solenoid located in the vehicle? I am running too much current from the AC switch to the pressure sensor & solenoid. I can disconnect the pressure sensor but I still blow the fuse. I am suspecting the solenoid but I don't know where it is located.
