We have a 1984 Volvo 240 GL in our shop and had to replace the blower motor, now I am on the way back together and I forgot what wires went where behind the cluster. I have figured out the yellow wire goes in the lower right corner of the cluster and the white/red is the tach wire which goes I believe on the back of the tach. This car does have a tach. There is a solid blue and a solid grey wire that I dont know where they go. There is a plug that is hooked in back of the tach, from what I have found on alldata I believe that powers the small clock in the center council which is not in this car. One more thing, there is a cable that goes in the corner of the speedometer that I dont know what it runs and do not see a hook up for it, I have a short cable about a foot long that I dont know what it does.
