I have a 85 740 GLE. It is getting bad gas mileage and won't pass a smog inspection. I have done a valve job and replaced the timing belt, pulley, dist. cap, rotor, plug wires, spark plugs, flame trap and hose, and the oxygen sensor. I have also done a oil change and replaced the filters.
Any suggestions on what else I could check or do to improve the gas mileage I would appreciate it. Thanks.
