Default Head Replacement

Quick question

i got a new head for my 93 940 8v, I'm not sure if i should use permatex on the head gasket or not? both surfaces should be flat since its a new head and the top of the block doesn't warp, right? do you guys recommend permatex just in case?

thanks

DO NOT USE ANY SEALERS ON THE HEADGASKET!!

Just make sure you follow the proper Torque and Angle specs and you will be fine.

i used permatex on the head gasket on the old head, before i knew not too.

i got the new head bolted down and everything is working, except i have a oil pressure light on now. i checked the sensors on the head and there hooked up, and there is no leak from the valve cover or the front and rear cam seals.

any ideas?
