I have rattles in the header pipe baffles of my 1992 240 and was wondering if anyone knows, instead of paying for a new Volvo header pipe with the baffles, what is a good A/M header pipe and where to buy it. The 02 on mine is in the Cat and not the header pipe. I had the Volvo dealer tell me that I will have more valve noise coming into the car without this baffle systemheader pipe from Volvo?

are you sure it isnt the federally mandated covers that surround the exhaust pipe. these come loose with time and rattle like hell. if you remove do not park on a pile of leaves or in the high grass. or just reattach.
