Default Headlight Wipers?

In order to fully compliment my future E-code headlights, where could I find a headlight wiper kit? Would I have to order one from Europe because I see nothing on Parts websites. I think they would look cool. Have any of you considered one?

You could also search Australian wreckers. However, considering they won't even help locals, you might have a hard time getting parts shipped. Worth a try though. There are a fair few parts involved, the wiper motors drive the wipers via cable, the wipers are controlled by a signal from the windscreen squirter (only wipe when windscreen is cleaned), the headlight wipers have their own washer pump and hoses etc.

And a photo for you:

Well, to be honest, the only headlamp wipers I've had hands on experience have been my own. An 84 760 and the ones I have now, for the square headlamps of 79-80. Both sets featured direct drive motors rather than cables. For the 240, the VADIS diagrams seem to indicate one pump with a simple "T" in the line. That's how I'll hook them up anyway. I believe your 93 already has the holes for the wiper arms, filled in w/ a black plug. To the OP, I have a friend in Sweden that no doubt can get a set of the wipers for you. Be forewarned, shipping alone could be $25-35. Drop me a pm and I'll tell you how to touch base with him.

Most of the time you see wiper blades on headlights they are broken and look funny, kind of like that other feature on cars of that era that closed their eyelids when lights were not on.As the switch is rotated the wipers at a slow medium or fast setting, pressing down on the end of the switch operates the intermittant feature and the windshield washer system at the same time on the wiper motor the intermittent relay is mounted.
