The headliner in my "90 740GLE is sagging in the back over the rear seat. Whats the best way to repair it?

 

Have someone replace the Material on it.

 

IPD sells a kit at a premium price. The kit consists of an aedequate amount of material and spray glue. You can download the instructions from the ipd site. The material is available at your local foam and fabric outlet. They will also have the spray glue. I have done it, and it is a job. You have to take the front seats out to get the headliner out.

 

I bought my material at www.stockinteriors.com and they were great getting free samples out to find a good match or contrasting color. Kit is very complete but I have not attempted install yet. Also have video taped from DIY network that did a 740 sedan with power roof. Yes, seats do have to come out.
