Smile Heated Seat Wiring Available?

Hi again all,

I've recently discovered that the 240 I'm restoring had heated seats, but some owner along the way removed some of the wiring. Does anyone know where I can get the wiring? Also, I see where the wiring goes from the seat to the harness, but I don't know how the actual switches hook up or what they hook up to. Thanks for any advice and help you can offer.

Nick

Switches were/are in the hand brake console. Are the grids in the seats or is the main harness gone?

I have the switches (they came in a box of parts) and there are wires under the driver and passenger seat. The passenger seat has a wire or two hanging from the bottom, though one is clipped. The driver seat didn't have any wires, though I'm about to pull the bottom seat cushion cover to see if there's a grid there or not. I assume they both have it though. I'm also unsure where those two wires go that are under the floor carpeting.

the 740 is probably similar but no, there's significant wiring differences between the 240 and 7/9's.

I'll try and remember to dig up a 740 heated seat diagram later tonight, right now I don't have time

Nevermind, thanks! I ended up getting a kit from Wagonmeister. I was going to use the factor buttons as well, but ended up using his as they are two-stage. I simply drilled holes in the center console blanks and voila!
